Las profesoras son personas muy competentes, que me ayudaron a descubrir aspectos interesantes de la ciudad, de Argentina en general y de cultura. Me gustaron mucho también las actividades que la Academia organizó por la tarde, como por ejemplo las clases de cine o las visitas a museos o barrios de la capital. I had a great time. Acadamia Buenos Aires (ACBA) is a great place to learn spanish regardless of your personal level of spanish. I had a chance - through friends - to compare it with competitive offers in the city and ACBA always turned out to be the best by: - providing a large number of highly skilled professors - following a very strict regime of learning the fundamentals of the language - mixing in many playful elements - offering a very warmhearted and authentic environment due ot its unique and caring stuff. I studied intensive Spanish courses at Academia Buenos Aires for around a month and also took the opportunity to volunteer at a community centre teaching English as part of my trip. The school was very well organized and the teaching was excellent, the class sizes were small, there were 4 people in my class and the teachers were very knowledgeable about Argentina and its history so it made for quite a learning experience in that respect as well. The classes were intense enough to mean that I advanced quite rapidly in just a month but still gave me time to do lots of exploring in the city. I also stayed in a beautiful apartment with other students which the school helped me arrange, that was a great experience and a fantastic way to share the experience of the city. The volunteering was also well organized, the first day someone from the school came with me to make sure everything went smoothly and to introduce me to people at the organization, after that they checked in regularly to see how things were going. That really tested my Spanish since the people in the community centre didn't speak much English and again it gave me chance to see another part of life in the city. All in all I had a great time in Buenos Aires, it's a wonderful city and Academia Buenos Aires is a great school, I would definitely recommend to others looking to study Spanish.

My experience at Academia Buenos Aires was wonderful. I arrived to Buenos Aires with a basic Spanish, but my objective was to have a strong intermediate level by the end of my stay. I chose Academia from among many schools because having checked their website I felt that I would find professional services. I must say my expectations were exceeded, from day 1. I started with an intensive course in a group of 4 and in 3 weeks we covered the most important grammar topics. Then, I took private classes for 2 months. This let me focus on my weaknesses and start the preparation for the DELE exam. The teachers were very skilled, and they made sure that we all spoke Spanish in class. They were open to share their thoughts and discuss daily events. I especially enjoyed the explanations of Paula, who actually dedicated her spare time to correct my extra exercises! (They use their own books and there are many exercises that you can do on your own.) They have great extra programs from language workshops to walking tours. These tours were my favorites: with an extremely knowledgeable girl we discovered certain districts and these tours helped us understand the culture. I often went to the weekly movie nights with wine tasting too. The whole experience was perfect for me. I was sad to leave and I would recommend this school to everyone without hesitation for its excellent teachers and staff!
