I took classes at El Sol in March 2010, shortly after finishing my 5th semester of Spanish at the University of Florida. The efficiency of the administration & the quality and way of teaching was very impressive. There was always a good amount of homework given every day, and it was obvious that the teachers also expected that a student puts in some efforts as well; say, do more than a simple pay and show up in class. I took three classes each day, base plus one conversation. I realized that my Spanish did get much better, but it wasn't even close compared to what my Spanish speaking co-workers and friends had to say upon my return: All were amazed by how much my Spanish improved in only two weeks. Can't give a better recommendation than this. Anyone seriously interested in learning Spanish and/or getting more proficient, and also wants to put in some work, will be pleased with El Sol. Also, the Spanish spoken in Lima is very good, another benefit.
