Flexible choice of study centre
At any time it is possible to switch between our three main centres: Heidelberg, Berlin and Darmstadt. For advance bookings there is no surcharge.
The headquarters of our language school („Fritz“) are located close to the "Stadtmitte" underground station (U2, U6) next to the famous Berlin Gendarmenmarkt. Taxi stands and car parks are nearby. Excellent public transport links. Additional classrooms („Charlie“) available within 4 minutes walking distance, right at the famous Checkpoint Charlie.

Intensive Group Courses with 20, 25 or 30 lessons per week. Module courses (10 lessons per week) as grammar, conversation or exam preparation also available. The German courses can be also combined with the English courses! Follow the link for more information.

Preparation for the university entrance qualification (Feststellungsprüfung) in ccoperation with theHWTK (Hochschule für Wirtschaft, Technik und Kultur)
We offer DSH-, TestDaF-, TOEFL®- and TOEIC®- preparation as intensive, evening or individual courses, please check our website.
Our students come from all over the world, their ages vary from 16 to 99. The classes are small, with an average number of 9-10 students.
F+U offers a varied cultural and leisure programme consisting of at least one activity per week throughout the year and at least twice a week during July and August, including:
- Orientation tours of Berlin’s city centre (free)
- A regular ‘Stammtisch’ gathering (free)
- Regular film evenings (free)
- Cycling tours through Berlin’s most attractive districts (free)
- Boat trips on the Spree
- Visits to the German Bundestag (parliament)
- Museum and concerts visits
- Sporting activities (e.g. climbing, canoe tours)
- Company visits
- Afternoon workshops on phonetics, academic writing at university, interviews and oral exams
- All-day or half-day excursions to Poland, Potsdam, Leipzig, Hamburg and Dresden
