Language School description
Our school in Brighton is very well-located, near the sea. Brighton Pier, Churchill Square Shopping Centre, the Royal Pavilion Palace and, of course, the beach are all not far away. The school residence is also just a short walk away from the language school.
The English school is housed in an attractive building with a beautiful courtyard. For the free time before and after the English lessons, there is also a student lounge available for course participants to use. Free internet access provided by the school can also be used by students. Participants also have the opportunity to enjoy a fully organized social program and weekend activities.

Language courses at Sprachcaffe Brighton:
Standard course:
- Course duration: minimum 2 weeks
- Classes: 4 lessons per day, each of 45 minutes, 5 course days per week
- Minimum age: 18 years old; 16-17 accepted with parental or guardian authorization
- Levels: basic, intermediate, advanced

Intensive Course:
- Course duration: minimum 1 week
- Classes: 6 lessons per day, each of 45 minutes, 5 course days per week
- Minimum age: 18 years old; 16-17 accepted with parental or guardian authorization
- Levels: basic, intermediate, advanced

Individual lessons:
- Course duration: minimum 1 week
- Classes: 2, 4 or 6 lessons per day, each of 45 minutes, as requested
- Class size: 1 student

- Starting dates: throughout the year
Business language course:
- Course duration: minimum 1 week
- Classes: 6 lessons per day, each of 45 minutes: 4 lessons standard course plus 2 lessons business language, 5 course days per week

Long-term course:

Student nationalities, average age & average number per class
Our students come from all over the world, so that students will profit from a nationality mix. Countries students come from are i.e. Germany, Spain, France, Brazil, Japan, Italy and many more. The average age of our students in Brighton is approx. 26 years in winter and 21 years in summer season. The max. number of students per class varies with the type of language course and lies between. Usually the courses have a maximum af 12 students per class.
Activities
Activities in Brighton:
Brighton is not only a popular seaside resort surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the Sussex Downs, it is also a major university city, which attracts a large British student population to the universities of Brighton and Sussex.
The city is an important educational and cultural centre with an international reputation as one of the most fashionable cities in England. It is also host to some of Britain's most important political conferences.
Brighton is home to the famous 18th Century Royal Pavilion (shown above) and with such a strong student population, it is no surprise that you can also enjoy nightclubs, bars, concerts, museums, and much more.
Our Sprachcaffe Brighton team also organizes cultural-, movie- or karaoke-nights as well as various excursions. Please note that depending on the activity and excursion extra costs may apply.

Accommodation in Brighton:
Some apartments are located in the school residence, while others are in different parts of the city.
Apartments:
- Apartment with 6-10 students
- Single or double rooms
- Shared bathroom and kitchen
- Basic cleaning once a week
- Bed linen is provided
Host family:
In the private accommodation you’ll stay in a single or double room, and will receive half board. Your satisfaction is of particular importance to Sprachcaffe. The following criteria should therefore be fulfilled by our host families:
- Shortest possible distance between the school and the family’s home
- A single or double room must be available
- Standards and level of comfort should conform to standards typical of the country
- The availability of the family plays a large role in our selection
- Half board must be provided
Studend residence:
With more than 40 well-appointed rooms, the residence offers accommodation to suit every taste. You can choose between CLUB 1 and CLUB 2 rooms. Both options are comfortable however CLUB 2 rooms have a sea view.
The residence offers:
- Single or double rooms
- Rooms with private bathroom (shower / WC)
- TV and telephone in every room
- Room cleaning once or twice a week
- 15 minutes' walk to school
- 24 hour reception
- Breakfast, half board or full board can be booked additionally
