As a fluent Spanish speaker from the United States, often traveling with my wife and 2 boys (12 and 10 years old) in Spanish speaking lands, I found myself in Bariloche in June 2014 looking for a language school where my family could study Spanish for 5 weeks. Fortunately, we found our way to Academia Bariloche. The staff was very professional, accommodating, and friendly. The school facility is bright and comfortable and well located. The 2 directors/owners made us feel at home. Most importantly, my wife and boys learned a lot and had fun learning. In fact, although my boys were on their summer vacation, they never complained about going to school. In fact they looked forward to it! My husband and I had a great experience at Academia Bariloche! Taking the long way home to New Zealand after five years working in Australia, we embarked on nine months of travel through South America, Cuba and Central America. To do this we needed to be able to speak at least some Spanish! So as soon as we finished hiking in Patagonia we reached the beautiful town of Bariloche, and hunted down a language school. We spent a month studying from late March to early April 2014. We're still using the Spanish we learned at Academia as we head further north into Central America. We had heard of another popular school that we were going to check out, but as soon as we visited Academia we signed up! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the second person for half price discount they had was too good to pass up. From day one we knew we'd made the right choice - our excellent teacher Nicolas managed to teach us spanish despite our many attempts to distract him. We were surprised by how quickly We were learning and how effective the program was. We really enjoyed living in Bariloche, it's an awesome town to chill out in, drink delicious craft beers, melt in your mouth steaks, the best chocolate in South America, and you can't forget the ice cream! After all that food and study there are also lots of beautiful walks and cycle options to check out the area. The staff know all about how to organise these and some of the afternoon activities that are included in the course take you to these sites. We would definitely recommend Academia Bariloche, all the teachers were great and one of the owners is married to a fellow kiwi! Academia Bariloche is everything you could want in one building, friendly, efficient, understanding, focused and above all fun!! We just loved everything about it and are so thankful that we experienced life in Bariloche with them. Thank you for teaching us Spanish and enabling us to travel successfully in Spanish countries with confidence. Thank you for also introducing us to our fellow students, four months after the course we're still meeting up with other students along our travels!

Nach glatt verlaufender aber anstrengender 28-Stunden-Reise kam ich abends in San Carlos de Bariloche bei meiner Gastfamilie, die mich herzlich willkommen hieß, an. Am nächsten Morgen begann die erste der drei Spanischwochen in der Academia Bariloche. Der Unterricht war in sehr kleinen Gruppen (1-2 Schüler!) und so gut individuell angepasst. Um es als Bildungsurlaub anerkannt zu bekommen, hatte ich noch 10h Einzelunterricht neben dem 20h-Grundkurs belegt. Das ist ziemlich viel und ich empfehle, da eher 5h zu nehmen. Mit viel Fleiß und dank meinen hilfsbereiten und erfahrenen Lehrerinnen stand ich auch die 30h-Wochen überraschenderweise gut durch. So hatte sich meine Sprachfertigkeit schnell merklich gesteigert. Dank meiner netten Gastfamilie ging der Unterricht häufig auch abends weiter. Zudem habe ich da nochmal mehr von der argentinischen Kost und Lebensweise mitbekommen als schon bei den von der Schule organisierten Aktivitäten (Tango, Cervecería...) und meinen Wanderungen. Zurück in Schland habe ich einen Niveautest an der Uni abgelegt und bin eine Stufe höher gestuft worden als ich erwartete! --> Sehr zu empfehlen!

Mesmo tendo ficado apenas uma semana em Bariloche, houve uma grande melhora em meu espanhol ainda pude me divertir muito nas excursões e atividades de aventura programadas pela escola. As aulas são excelentes e o dia a dia fora da sala de aula com os professores, funcionários e outros alunos me possibilitou por em praticar de imediato o que aprendi. Atualmente com a Copa do Mundo de 2014 no Brasil, estou tenho a oportunidade, mais uma vez de por em pratica o que aprendi, e perceber o quanto essa experiência me agregou. Não tenho dúvidas de que vou voltar em breve para terminar meus estudos e desfrutar da neve.

Ich kam im Februar 2012 nach Bariloche, um dort als Deutschlehrerin an einer Schule zu arbeiten. Mein Spanisch war sehr rudimentär und um mich mit Schüler und Kollegen verständigen zu können und im Alltag zurechtzukommen, brauchte ich dringend Spanischunterricht. Meine Wahl fiel auf die Academia Bariloche, da sie im Zentrum der Stadt liegt und damit einfach zu erreichen ist. Eine gute Entscheidung, die ich nicht bereue! Ich nehme hier nun schon seit etwas mehr als 2 Jahren Einzelunterricht und ich habe schnell viel Nützliche gelernt. Besonders gefällt mir, dass der Unterricht sehr individuelle gestaltet und auf meine Bedürfnisse und Interessen eingegangen wird. So ist es nie langweilig und ich lerne nicht nur die Sprache, sondern auch sehr viel über die Kultur des Landes, in dem ich lebe. Auch bei Alltagsfragen abseits des Unterrichts helfen mir meine Lehrerinnen immer weiter. Die Resultate sprechen für sich. Ich kann dank eines guten Unterrichts meinen Alltag in einer fremden Sprachwelt hervorragend meistern! Mittlerweile kann ich mich fließend auf Spanisch unterhalten, Zeitung lesen, Filme schauen und Ersatzteile für mein Auto kaufen. Auch bei der Arbeit merke ich meine Fortschritte. Wie nützlich doch der Imperativ ist, wenn man ihn beherrscht! Aber ich habe hier nicht nur viel Nützliches gelernt, sondern auch Freunde gefunden! Sowohl unter den Lehrerinnen als auch unter den zahlreichen Mitlernen aus aller Welt. Denn obwohl ich Einzelunterricht nehme, habe ich in den gemeinsamen Pausen Gelegenheit, bei Kaffee, Tee, Mate und Keksen auch die anderen Schüler kennenzulernen. Es macht Spaß hier her zu kommen, mit einem Kaffee begrüßt zu werden, über den Alltag zu sprechen (natürlich auf Spanisch!) und dazu auch noch jedes Mal etwas Neues zu lernen! Wenn ihr also etwas sucht, wo ihr in entspannter Atmosphäre mit netten Leuten viel lernt – nicht nur Sprache, sondern auch Hilfreiches zum (Über)Leben in Argentinien – seid ihr hier genau richtig! Ich habe drei Wochen Sprachkurs an der Academia Bariloche gemacht und mir hat alles sehr gut gefallen. Die Lehrer sind sehr kompetent, das Ambiente sehr nett und die Schule wirklich zentral gelegen. Bariloche hat mir nebenbeigesagt so gut gefallen, dass ich naechste Jahr meinen gesamten Urlaub dort verbringen werde!!
