My expierences in Cape Town and EC School. My Name is Dieter and I am from Germany. I stayed only for two weeks in Cape Tow and EC School. Now I will tell you about my expierences I have done in Cape Town and EC School. When I arrived to Cape Town it was well after midnight. Two young men of EC School were waiting for our more than three hours late flight.. Next day my lessons started at EC School. From the first moment, I arriived there, I was very impressed of all the nice people I met at EC School.. Teachers and classmates were, no, they are so nice and friendly people. There I found a warm and familiar atmosphere.. Other than teaching, the school offers an alternate and interesting leisure program, for example to visit Table Mountain or Point of Good Hope. This trip was one of my best things I have done. I hope for everybody, that you enjoy your trip to Cape Town as well I did Take care and have fun Greetings from Germany Dieter

Hello My Name is Cristovao and I'm from Angola. I came to study English at EC Language for 3 months. When I arrived at EC I did a test and I started in Pre-intermediate. I had lot of difficulty to understand the lessons very well like: Grammar, vocabulary, writing and listening. But I have got nice teachers like teacher Hamima, Narjuan, Warfa and nice Classmates. There are helping me when I have doubt. Now I understand how to use same word in grammar, vocabulary but I study hard do improve my listening because I have more difficulty at listening test. Thanks Bye bye.

My experience from Ezdeen and Faraj
I am EZDEEN RFIEDA, from Libya, I am studying at EC Cape Town. I arrived in Cape Town in March. I started at Elementary level and I stayed there for five weeks. My Reading was good, but my Listening and Speaking needed more practice. The school has a FREE Listening Center and I went there everyday. In my class, there are different students from other countries. I chatted to them about their lives and their countries. So I was able to speak English and understand different accents. If you want to learn English, you must go to the Listening Center once or twice a day. You must write 80-100 words every day. Also, you must read at least one hour per day. You had better visit the library and read as much as possible. The weather in Cape Town is crazy. For instance, in the morning it is sunny, after two hours it changes and suddenly it's freezing!

      hello every body
I want to talk to you about my experience in South Africa. I came to Cape Town one month age to study English language. First, I was shocked about everything. I was afraid to talk to people, but after one week at EC I felt relaxed and I made a lot of friends. Really my teachers and friends helped me more. Also, they encourage me to not be shy and to speak with people.

      From Otman (Libya)
I have been in Cape Town for studying English language at EC Cape Town, because I'm studying International Law in the future. There are best teachers and good treatment of my teachers with all students. I was happy when I came here. It is better country in South Africa. There are different nationalities, different people of Cape Town The city is very nice because there are many places to see, like Table Mountain, Camps Bay and Waterfront. The weather in Cape Town changes sometimes in one day. There are a lot of respectable people in South Africa because they are strong. They are better now than twenty years ago when Mandela strove for freedom. I will stay here for three years and I hope to stay here for longer.

      My lovely experience in SA
HELLO EVERYONE ! :) I'm Cristina and I'm from Angola. I'll study in EC Cape Town for six months. This school has good building and more classes with different levels. In my class teacher's are very friendly and helpful like a others teachers in EC. My colleagues are friendly and fun. I love them because sometimes they make me laugh and I feel more happy . In the school, it has a library with interesting books for example "The Mummy" . About Cape Town, I think it is a beautiful city. Sometimes the weather is boring because it always changes. There are many places to walk, like Camps Bay, parks, Table Mountain and more. Finally, South Africa is a very beautiful country with different peoples and cultures, fun people, different langues and more people of other country's and here I have learned a lot from all. My 15 Weeks at EC Cape Town
Hello future students, I hope you are doing very well as I hope to spend your best time at EC school as I already did. I'm Monder and I'm 18 years old. EC is not only an English school - it's really a guide for life and I really learnt more than studying. Also, Cape town is a charming destination and everyone will get a chance to meet new people who will become your family away from home. During my 15 weeks at EC Cape Town, I started at Elementary level and finished at High Intermediate. My listening improved because I spent a lot of time with friends from other nationalities and I had the opportunity to speak to them. I stayed in Bo Kaap, which is near to the school. I stayed with a lovely, warm-hearted family who were very kind. I hope you enjoy your time in Cape Town :)

      My time in Cape Town
Hello~!! I'd like to tell you about my fantastic experience at EC Cape Town. Also, I want everyone to know some useful information. Here in South Africa, it has good weather and kind people. If you go to Cape Town don't hesitate for your fabulous experience. Now I'm going to give information to you about accommodation, transportation and method of studying. First of all, If you want to live near EC you can try to go Bo Kaap and ask some students at EC because there is cheap price in there and includes breakfast. Secondly, in here, taxi price is very expensive that's why I recommend using "My City Bus" if you want to go to any places in Cape Town. In addition you can get a "My City Card" at the Civic Center. They help you to get one!! Lastly, in case that your listening skills is poor, I'd like to suggest to go to the Listening Center in EC because they serve perfect equipment for listening to you and of course - it's free. But don't forget the opening time which is 1 PM. I believe that it will be good information for you. Also, I'm happy to share my experience. Finally, I want say that JUST DO IT IN YOUR MIND AND ENJOY IT!!!. Thanks

      EC school
I am Zdenka and I’m staying at EC Language School. I came from Prague {Czech} on the 6 January 2014 on my own. Anyway I had to speak English everywhere and every time. It has been very interesting experience to speak and to try and understand everyone from this school. It is not just about how to use a language. It’s also about how to get and to know people and their behaviour particularly. These interactions are amazing for me. To explore local culture has been fantastic as well. I like to speak people and to make friends. Those days I have many friends from Cape Town. I would like to say that my experience at EC Language school is also about helping change my host family. Unfortunately my first host family had been living in District Six. There are not so many opportunities to walk, to ride a bike and to run, I asked to change that. They helped me very quickly to change my host family. Now, I have been living in Sea point and I am very happy. I enjoyed my time at ES school, especially during doing my homework . Thanks to everyone from the school for their patience and enthusiasm. Very, very nice experience.

Wonderful School - EC Cape Town
I'm Yujiro Hamaguchi from Japan. I was studying English at EC language school in Cape Town. The level of my class was high intermediate. At first, it was very hard for me because other students could speak and listen to English better. Also, I was the only Japanese student in my first week. However, thanks to my teachers, my friends, and my host family, I became able to speak English a little more fluently than when I came to Cape Town. I made so many friends such as Libyan, Yemeni, Angolan, Swiss, French, German and Brazilian. My experience at EC school in Cape Town was very short but very exciting, amazing and fantastic.

Experience of studying at EC Cape Town
I`ve always wanted to learn English and I recognized how useful it would be for my future. I had started studying since I was a kid but I wanted to improve it, so I decided to travel for some time to an English Country in order to develop new skills. Firstly, I was thinking about going to Australia or New Zeland, but when I went to the agency they offered me the option of Cape Town. I got really interested and I looked for more information on the internet and also talked with a friend that had already studied there. It convinced me because it was something different, a new culture. Now, I`m here at Ec Cape Town and I`m enjoying a lot, for sure I`ll improve my English.

      A experience to repeat
I had already been in Cape Town before, so I knew all that this city offers. It is the perfect place to enjoy yourself at the same time that you study English (the nature, the atmosphere, the cultural mixture...). I was searching on Internet an English school and finally I decided to choose EC because of its services and price and I am very happy to have done it. I like the methods used by the teachers and it is also great to meet so many nice people from different countries and be able to go on practising English with them after classes.

EC Cape Town - A great experience!
Since I came to Cape Town, I saw a lot of great things. In the airport, the organization and the good services were my first good idea about the city. After I came in the city and also in EC Cape Town, I had great experiences. I am improving my English, day after day, learning about new cultures, foods, traditions and much more. They have excellent teachers. EC Cape Town in my opinion is not only a school to learn a new language, but also to get great moments and knowledge.

IN CAPE TOWN TO LEARN ENGLISH LANGUAGE
I have been in EC school for 4 months , and during this period my language has improved that is thanks to the learning programs at EC school . There are 3 classes , 2 of them in the morning and 1 in the afternoon , and the most interesting thing is every weak there is a new subject to discuss for example last week was about designs and before that about advertising..., however the teacher was talking about grammar and at the same time we could pick up more new vocabulary .... that is why I chose EC school and you can learn the language with very funny and easy way without complication .

      Amazing City
Hi, My name is Jeff, from Mozambique. Since the first day I arrived in Cape Town i felt in love with it.It has nice people and nice schools. Before i came here i thought i was speaking very good English. But, EC School showed me i was wrong, particularly in grammar and listening as well. I learned how to make a product and to advertise and to sell it. I also learned the differences between formal and informal sentences.

I have been at EC Cape Town since 5 weeks ago and it's been good so far . At the beginning I thought , I could learn many thing at EC but now I can speak with foreign people in Cape Town . The Classrooms and the way of teaching is so great because it's like a modern way which you can use Computers , wifi and all facilities that you need for learning . As well as I'm finding it quiet enjoyable because you can find foreign people with different cultures and religions and also you can learn many thing from them ! My recommendation for you is just to come and learn everything that you'll need !!

I think that my experience will be good. When I have arrived I didn't know how to speak English, just the main words. Day after day I have improved my language. I could step by step discuss with others people. Now, I am proud of my progression and I would like to continue like this.

      EVVIVA EC!
I'm Enea, from Italy. I'm here in cape town for 40 days and i go back Italy in middle of october. I choose ec school because the e.s.l. agency told me very well of this place and it had reason. my first day here was excellent.....staff and teachers were very friendly.wow i like it. is good also for the location! 5minutes to walk to city centre and for the many activities that school offer. Inside at school there's one library, small but there's all, (i never went), 2 computers room and one room for listening to improve your english. When i came i was alone, i didn't know anything, city and people, no friends; it's normal and i think that is good experience also this. For me this school is very professional for learning english and i reccommend to all people that want to improve or learn. W EC!!

When I came to EC for the first time (six weeks ago) I felt like an alone and afraid child because I didn't know anything about the EC School neither english languague, but after I started with my classes all that changed. I have had the chance to discover new and interesting things about EC, like its excellent teachers who use easy and funny ways to teach english. Also it is suitable to talk about the amazing enviroment which is possible to find at EC due to the "Good energy" from the all people here. Other important things about EC are their resources to cath up succesful with their students, like the interesting study material, their classroom, the facilities that can be used for the students, and a lot of tools to improve together.

      Penguins- Simon's Town
Simon's Town is a place in Cape Town were you can find penguins, walk and swim with them if you want. The name of this beach is Boulders, if you want go there and you live in the city center the best option is to rent a car, but also you can take the train, it is easier to get there becasue Simon's Town is the last station. When you are there you can enjoy a really good dinner next to the sea and enjoy the view with the ships and boats. Also you can go and learn about the marine life and visit the old toys museum for just 5 rand. It's a beautiful place to visit if you have the opportunity.

In my opinion EC has good teachers, and I learned a lot of new things. EC, for me, has a good location. There are banks, restaurants and other things that are very near. The class isn't so good because sometimes we don't have tables and on the first day, we didn't even have a fan! In the classes we spoke a lot, played games, wrote reviews and practiced our listening.

My first time in South Africa
When I arrived in Cape Town I felt anxious. My first week was too difficult and terrible. I wanted to explain many things, but couldn't. I felt so sad because I didn't know how to express myself in English. I started at the beginner level and met Una. She was very friendly, hard working and had a lot of material. I continued at the elementary level and met Milli, Nicola, Adele, Jeffery and Johan. They were very friendly and hard-working. I am happy because I met many teachers. Now my classroom is at the pre-intermediate level and my teachers are Shaun and Warren. This classroom is not too difficult for me.They are always smiling .I'm never bored! I have 4 months remaining before I have to go back to Turkey. I hope my English will continue to improve. If I want to explain something I can. I like Cape Town and EC very much! Thanks for everything EC School! Regards,

EC school is a good place to learn English.
There are many people (teachers, staff) that want to help you to improve your English skills. The teachers are cheerful and helpful. If you have a doubt, they try to explain in the best way. The staff is good too, they want to help you if you have a problem about the school, the city, etc. The atmosphere is good, but the classrooms are warm and they don't have any air conditioning. Sometimes I sweat because is too hot inside the classroom. And I think that EC School is very safe, because there is security in front of the school who avoid strange people get into the school. With regards to the communication, the telephone works well and, if you have to call the school, there’s always a person who answers. The internet is not good. The speed is too slow and if you want to check your emails, you can't because there are many computers and the internet is overloaded. The materials are good, they have many different ways that can help you to learn English. They have many conversation and reading parts. The location of the school is excellent, because the most important streets are nearby the school. You don't need to walk for a long time to go to supermarkets, malls, restaurants, etc. and the city of Cape Town is a wonderful place that has many things to do and visit. I think that EC Cape Town is a great place to improve your English!

      Second trip to Sourth Africa
The school is very good. I think so because they have good courses, give plenty of homework and the teachers are good. It's not my first time in S.A. as I've studied at another school before, but they did not have programmes that were precise about how to teach and the teachers usually didn't give homework. At EC, we have a lot of homework and enough opportunities to speak and listen, which helped me greatly. I think it is great that the teachers change during each lesson.

Do you know EC Cape Town? This a English school in South Africa. A good place to learn english, to meet different people and learn about different cultures. EC is in the center of Cape Town, near everything: museums, Table Moutain, beach. Here is possible to learn english inside class and outside. I stayed here in my vocation an could study english, make friends and enjoy! If is your first time and you want to have a great experience, come and enjoy EC Cape Town.

      first time in abroad
I just came to Cape Town for universty. before I came here, I had a dreamt about going abroad, especially English countries. than we researched and found Cape Town. I have been here for about 2 mounths. I am going to stay for another 7 mounths. I first came with my father, in the first week we traveled to a lot of places here. after my father went back, I started to study English at EC. and I settled into a host family's house. now, everything is fine. I try to speak English and I meet some people many times. I have so much fun. I think, EC is a successful choice to learn Eglish. But I still struggle to speak English. I also like my host family. they are very friendly, lovely people. and they are also Muslim Cape Town is definitely diffirent from my country. there are a lot of people who have got different nationality. everyday I can see some original people that I have never seen before. it is so enjoyable for me :) the weather is similar to my country. actually the same seasons but they are opposite. the same summer as ours but there is extreme weather in the days of Cape Town summer. Finally, I do not know how winter weather is in C.T yet. will see..;)

      Rainbow Country
I arrived in Cape Town on 14th November for the second time in my life, and like the first one, everything has been great here. As a child, I had already Africa in my heart, that's the reason I feel at home inside this land everytime I come. First time my parents suggested I leave for South Africa, I didn't know anything about it, and I was convinced to find the "real Africa", with all its troubles such as famine, poverty, conflicts and violence, but however with special people who smile having nothing. The thing I love most about Cape Town is the way how the people live: from the reality where I come from, it is awesome to see different cultures, religions, lenguages, origins living together.

      Cape Town, my amazing experience
The 21.01.2012, I took the plane from Geneva to Cape Town. Before that when I decided to come here to learn English, many people in my family were afraid about this Idea. I didn't expect anything about Cape Town and South Africa, because I traveled to discover. In my Family, that was not the same thing, because Africa has a very bad reputation. They think the north that's only war between peoples, dictators, al Quaida... In the south part, there is the war between little naked black people who live in huts. Of course I exaggerate the description, but that was their idea about Africa. After my arrival, I discovered a really beautiful city quite similar to European city but with the Table Moutain and the ocean, something really amazing. I've only been here for 1.5 weeks, si it's difficult to say more. I'm here to discover a new culture, and I'm sure that was the good decision and good destination. New culture, in a beautiful place with the sun to learn English, what else could be better?

      Experience in Cape Town
When I decided to come to Cape Town, last November, my parents didn't like the ideia, because they thought that here was a dangerous city and couldn't give me many good things. But they allowed me to come and I was expecting a "sin city" where I could study English, enjoy with my friends and also know a new culture. Now, after two months here, I can see that I was right, because I could go out to many places here, know different people, and study at school to improve my english. It's been a good experience.

Before coming to Cape Town, my expectations were that it will be dangerous, maybe it will have racism because of apartheid. I thought that people will not be friendly like in my city. But when I arrived, I saw people with big smiles and who are very happy. They help you when you are lost in the street or if you want to go anywhere. They don't care about your skin color, it's really cosmopolitain here.

In class you learn a lot about grammar and vocabulary. It is the most important if you want to progress. Teachers and students are very kind and friendly.

My teacher always knows what I need to improve more and be able to give me perfect advices. The classes are packed full of activities and it is very challenging. One thing I really like about this course is that my teacher always explains me the reason why I am doing the exercise before we start so I could know what I have to achieve through the exercise. Consequently I am able to see my progress which makes me satisfied and also I would always be aware of the point which I still need to work out.

This was my first international experiece in another country. I like it very much. I'm meeting people from all parts of the world. I think this is very important for making friends. I've seen beautiful places like Camps Bay, the Water Front and Lion's Head. I spent 4 hours walking up Table Mountain. It's a wonderful place, I'll go there again before going back to Brazil. I think EC School is a good school.

Hello! My name is Emmanuelle and I'm from Cameroon.I came to South Africa to learn and speak English very well.So I went to an English Language Centre to improve my English.EC is a very good school for practising your English because you meet people from other countries. It's easier to learn Eglish here because all teachers don't speak the language that you speak and most of the teachers are from South Africa. When you go out of the school, you have to speak English everywhere. I'm so happy to be in EC language because it's clean, organised and teachers are very understanding. I think South Africa is the best country to learn English in because there are a lot of attractions organised by the school. I thank EC because I can speak English better than before and I've met a lot of people here. Here everyone is really friendly.Thank you EC,really!!!!!

I've been studying at EC for four months and my experience here has been unbelievable because you can improve your English with many people from different countries, and learn about diverse cultures. The teachers are very good because all are from English speaking homes. Because the classes are small, it's easier for you to learn in every class.

I've been studying at EC for the last 9 months and I have to say that my experience here is the best I have ever had. The teachers are professional and the staff is really supportive; always ready to help you with any problem. We have an amazing view of the spectacular Table Mountain with its cloudy tablecloth from our classroom window, and at noon you can hear the loud noon-gun on Signal Hill. Best of all is that you can hang out with people from all over the world while you learn about their cultures and languages. Come to study at EC it is really worth it. This amazing city has taught me more than English. It's taught me about South African history and the African way. I have had the opportunity to learn abour myself through the eyes of a culturally rich rainbow nation. It is for sure that the experience that I have had is unique and that I will treasure it for the rest of my life.

Hi, I'm Astrid from Italy. I find the school well organised the staff here is friendly and helpfull. In the class we are max 10 students and that allow us to speak and to be correct more than in a bigger class. The lessons are dialogs between the teacher and the students. I find it important because it isn't boring. The school provides free activities, too. And they arranfe also interesting trips for our free time. Thanks to the host family we can know south african people and they introduce you to the real life in this country. The school is in the city center wich is convenient because everything is close to us. Here you can meet people coming from all over the world. It is a very beautiful experience for me.

Hello my name is catherina diaz I'm from colombian and I would like to write about my experiencies at EC. First of all when I arrived here I stayed with a host family for my first month, this family was very friendly and helpfull. The school is very good too but the first weel I felt very strange because everything was new and your life is different. The classes are interesting because every day you learn something new, the classes are small only ten students so it's easier for you, your teacher and the other students. At EC we have a library with books and movies, so if you really like read books or wath movies you can use the library all the time. Obviously we have other activities if you want to know about them you will have to came here and live your own experience.
