About EUROPASS CENTRO STUDI EUROPEO
Europass Centro Studi Europeo is an Italian Language and Culture Centre for Foreigners and an Educational Institution accredited by the Regione Toscana, specialized in planning and providing educational courses and activities.
Since 1992, in addition to Italian language and culture courses, the Centre has offered sector-based language courses (economics, legal, architectural etc.), culture courses (history, art history, literature etc.), art courses (painting, sculpture, fresco painting etc.) and cooking courses.
With a staff of over 10 collaborators, each year EUROPASS welcomes approximately 500 students from all over the world who wish to learn or perfect their knowledge of the Italian language and culture.

Students from all over the world Average age: between 17 and 30. Classes consist of minimum 2, maximum 12 students. The small size of the classes guarantees individual attention allows to maintain a high teaching standard.

How to get there

I've been at Europass for 3 out of 4 total weeks so far doing the Italian and Cooking Masterclass, and I've really enjoyed my experience so far! The teachers are great, the extracurricular tours and cooking classes are awesome, and Florence is a beautiful city to explore. I've gone from almost zero Italian to be conversational (not fluent - but I've improved so much). I'd definitely recommend Europass.

An inspiring week
I studied Italian in Europass for a week but already in this short time the experience was so inspiring and motivating that I will definitely proceed studying Italian at home. I liked my teacher a lot, the staff was very friendly and after-class activities were fun and engaging. Last but not least - I found some very good friends here and got to experience Firenze as a local. Couldn’t suggest Europass more :)

Sprache, Kultur und Spaß - Europass!
Ich bin jetzt seit 1, 5 Wochen hier und es gefällt mir wirklich gut. Freitags werden im Unterricht oft kreative Projekte wie Umfragen, Theater Stücke etc. durchgeführt, durch die man auf kreative Weise zusätzlich zur Sprache hingeführt wird.

Wonderful experience at Europass Firenze
I have had a fantastic experience at Europass and would definitely recommend. I have learned so much and feel as though my Italian has really improved. There is such a welcoming and relaxed environment and the teachers are fantastic and the classes are small which really helps you to learn. The first day I arrived it soon became clear that the class I had been put in was the wrong level and without me having to do anything, the teachers arranged for me to change classes. The learning tours are also a great way to practice your Italian outside if the classroom and to explore the city of Florence.

It's a MUST
I've started a standard Italian language course made up of 20 lessons/week of Italian language lessons an I love the experience. The school is located in a central area and, besides the language courses, they offer differente kind of extra-activities like cooking courses, visits or guided walks. Absolutely amazing place, amazing staff. It's a Must.

BRAVISSIMO
EuroPass is a great school to study Italian! I was individually assessed and put in class with 4-6 students: perfect to speak and ask a lot. My teacher Maurizio is competent, funny and veeeeery patient. He is at EuroPass for more than 10 years, so he has a lot of teaching experiences. In addition, he is an expert on the history of arts, and the EuroPass team makes good use of his skills. At least twice a week he offers tours through Firenze in intelligent, comprehensive and, luckily, slooooow Italian. The teaching material is very authentic and nearly flawless (on page 75 of the A1 book the sentence should say: Sono nato il primo di Febbraio). Mostly, we work in groups, so we have to talk in Italian. The exercizes are funny and cover all types of tasks (easy - challenging; creative; short - long; etc.). The flat that EuroPass organized for me is very nice. When there is a problem they are glad to help. All in all, EuroPass is not a business that wants to get your money for teaching as cheap as possible. Europass, so far as I can tell from Maurizio, wants you to learn Italian and experience la bella vita e cultura Italiana (resp. Fiorentina).

FANTASTIC
Being in the middle of my course with Europass, I don't have enough words to express my gratitude for the welcome they give to each student and to appreciate enough the human warmth and the professionalism of the teachers working there. The school environment is great and I really recommend Europass to anyone who wants to learn Italian and feel comfortable while being here.

Un corso meraviglioso
I studied Italian at Europass for 11 weeks between the end of May 2016 and mid-august and I couldn't recommend it more highly. When I arrived in Firenze I knew very little Italian, and within 11 weeks I reached a good level where I could communicate with Italians proficiently. T Throughout my 11 weeks I had the opportunity to experience all the teachers at the school (apart from Enzo) and found them all excellent, the lessons were always fun and engaging I never found myself getting bored. My first teacher, Raffaela, in particular was excellent, she always spoke slowly and clearly and really helped me grow in confidence at Italian which was extremely helpful at the start of my course. Some highlights for me have to be the excellent afternoon tours of Florence run by Maurizio to the main points of interest. Maurizio leads the tours using very simple clear Italian and they were thoroughly enjoyable. Finally the Italian family that the school found for me were excellent, extremely welcoming and eager to help me practice my Italian, to sum up and excellent experience all round, choose Europass!

Great experience in beautiful Florence
I booked the Standard Course for three weeks and I would definitely do it again! The atmosphere at the school is great, the teachers are amazing and there are students from all over the world. The lessons were fun and very efficient at the same time, I learned a lot in a short time. The school offers a wide range of activities in the afternoon and at the weekends. Especially the city tours were interesting. All in italian language, of course, you can prove your language skills. I totally recommend this school and the amazing city of Florence!

Corso di linga
In questa scuola si impara facilmente e in modo piacevole. I professori sono ben preparati ed espongono l'informazione in modo interessante e facile da capire. L'atmosfera internazionale é una cosa meravigliosa, si fanno amicizie di continuo e tutti sono sempre pronti a darti una mano. Sono stata in Italia per fare un corso d'italiano in Europass. La scuola si trova in un palazzo molto bello a Firenze. Esso è anche molto vicino ai monumenti più importanti della città. La classe è piccola, e il professore d'italiano (Enzo) rivolge abbastanza attenzione a tutti e cerca di farsi capire e di rendere le lezioni più interessanti. Il corso è stato una buona esperienza per me e con piacere frequenterei di nuovo Europass per qualche corso d'italiano.

Really good experience
I took the Compact grammar cours for 4 weeks during my summer vacations in Florence. I had never leaned Italian language before, but after a month, now I can understand many things in daily conversations in Italian. Even though our class is A1, our professeur teaches and speaks to us only in Italian. That can help students to get use to the language. The school organizes many excursions also for out side of the class. You can meet many students of different age groups from various countries.

Very pleased with the school
What I like very much of Europass, is that I had a conversation from the start just so we could see in which class I could start. Because I studied Italian before, I didn't want to learn the language from the very beginning. This way I could start at my own level, together with students who where as far as I was. It wasn't hard for me to get along with the other students, because they would make the same errors as I did. I was in a class with Rafaella and she is very sympathetic. She includes everyone and even though we only spoke Italian, she made everything very clear. If someone makes a mistake, she takes the time to explain. This also makes lessons very intense. One lesson, that takes about four hours, can maybe consist of only the grammar of one aspect. We could talk about irregular verbs and tenses very extensively. Because of this I wished I could follow the course longer than two weeks, because not everything of my level, B1, could be covered. But for me, because I study Italian at home, it gives me the opportunity to ask questions whenever I do not understand something. I like the fact that there is enough room to make mistakes, I didn't feel ''stupid'' at any time. Rafaella will help you if you have a hard time putting sentences together. Practically: the school has a great location, in the heart of the centre. It is nice to walk to town when lessons are over. Also the school doesn't feel very ''crowded''. Its groups are small. When you are alone, the school provides tours with a guide and cooking lessons and aperitivi, which are great to do if you don't know the city and you want someone to tell you where you should go ;-) I really felt like the teachers and the staff in general know what they are doing, making everyone as comfortable as possible. And if you want to explore the city by yourself, it's also fine.

excellente école ! excellente experience
Étudiante a Europass...j'ai adore cette école le cadre ...Florence. j'ai passe une très bonne période. L'école est top Super organisée..super prof. Que des points positifs. Le seul point négatif...c'est que le temps passe trop vite. Au final les étudiants reviennent car ont tous garde un bon souvenir. Ce qui sera sans doute mon cas. Pour une première expérience a l'étranger...pas de regret.

great experience, great school!
I am currently studying the Italian intensive language course at Europass for 6 weeks. Prior to coming out here I was quite unsure about which school I should go for. Firstly I chose Europass based on my phone call with the receptionist (Ulrike) who made me feel completely at ease and was very pleasant to deal with! Secondly I was immediately attracted to the website as it was the only language school which felt modern and up to date! Initially I was a bit unsure as to whether doing the intensive would be tedious and become a drag, however having been at the school now nearing 2 weeks I can honestly say time fly's! As the saying goes 'time fly's when you're having fun'. the teaching is outstanding, they are all very patient and make you feel really comfortable. I currently have Tatiana as my main teacher who is amazing and very funny! My apartment I am staying in, which I booked through Europass, is quiet, clean and with all the modern facilities. I chose the 'comfort' option therefore it takes me only 10 minutes to walk to school and only a few minutes to the center of Florence. Overall my experience has been excellent! I would definitely recomend and I hope to return again!

The best experience!
I am doing the language course called Standard and I go to class from 09.00 in the morning until 12.40 in the noon. I am doing 8 weeks in total and at the moment I am doing my second last week. The school took such good care of me right from the beginning and maked me feel welcome. So a normal day would be like this: the first part we do grammar and the last conversation, which I think is really good, because gramma can be a little too much if you study it too long at one time. The teachers are especially good to be patient and everything is going on in Italian, which also makes you learn faster. But the teaching is not always inside a class room. For example, we have been to San Lorenzo market where we were shown around and the teachers told us about the goods in Italian. Then we were handed a piece of paper with pictures of fruits, vegetables, etc.. And then we have to go out for ourselves to speak Italian to find out the names of the fruits. I have never received such excellent instruction that I get at this school and I am almost sure I will come back. The school also organizes activities throughout the week that you with a small amount can join: apertivo with live music, cultural tours around the city and so on. I would certainly recommend the school to others. It will not regret!

Such a brilliant experience
I have been studying at Europass for the last month, I have really enjoyed my time here not only are the teachers extremely good at explaining things, but you can tell they love their jobs because of their passion and their ability to motivate students and create a fun learning environment. The school is well organized and I would certainly recommend it to anyone who would like to learn, improve or just soak up italian language and culture. I cant wait to do more lessons and keep improving my italian.

I think that the language school Europass is the best choice for young people who would like to improve their language skills,to visit a beautiful place and meet a lot of people of different nations. The lectors are really friendly,but the other side they teach and examine correctly. I have learnt a lot during my stay in Florence and I have got a lot of new experiences. I am happy that I had a chance to be a student of Europass language school. I recommend it to everybody. :)

I'm currently doing the evening course at Europass, and so far it has proven to be a brilliant experience. The classes are small, allowing for a really friendly approach to learning Italian. The teacher is funny and interesting, making sure we understand everything but also stretching us intellectually. Highly recommended!

Under the guidance of the superb Enzo, we have been able to study every aspect of the Italian language in a relaxed, intimate atmosphere. I couldn't hold the school in higher regard. Great Experience
I did in Europass the Standard Italian Course and I was impressed about the quality and proximity of the teachers and education received. Raffaela was a great teacher and all the extra-activities organized by the school (specially the ones organized by Maurizio) were amazing. The location and flexibility of EUROPASS helped a lot to have a great experience.
I visited Florence half a year ago and I loved studying at Europass. This school is just amazing. The teachers are doing a great job especialy Raffaela and Maurizio are amazing. I didn't expect to learn that fast, but I improved my Italian very quickly. Probably also because we went once a week to an "Aperitivo" in the evening with the school. Our only language in common was :Italian! So I got the chance to use my Italian skills outside of the school. I will definitly come back!!!

I have enjoyed my stay at "EUROPASS" very much. My "holiday Italian" improved a lot - so that in the end (after two weeks) I could speak fluently and got the "B1 certificate". My teacher (Tatiana) was so funny while teaching us so many interesting things - the best I have ever had. The motto was "Learning by playing and learning with fun" and I have never liked going to school more than during these two weeks in Florence. Also I got to know many young people from all over the world - and we are still in contact:) The classrooms are cool, the groups are small, the teacher and other students are friendly and there is also a supermarket nearby. Five minutes (by foot)from school there is a really cheap and friendly restaurant called "Acasamia", where you can eat your lunch for just €3.30. It is so delicious! So everything is perfect - I can definitely recommend the language school "EUROPASS". I would like to come back one day as well:)
