Good school
At Future Focus language school I got more than I have expected. My expectation was not high, when we decided for family course, as my younger one is a beginner and older has learned three years of english in the school. Mostly we expected just vacation on Mlata with some hours of English. But they organized the course in the way, that the younger got a young teacher, who was able to motivate her to learned some basics of the language and the older got the teacher from Ireland, so she can first time heard someone who is native speaker of English. Both teachers were great and they knew how to encourage them to learn. I do not know whether it was a coincidence or not, but classes were very small (four students in the class of older and younger learned all the time one-on-one, as there were no other beginner), which dramatically increased the effects of the course. I should thanks both teacher Brandon and Katja for their efforts.

Mediterranean fascinate
I arrived in Malta to study english and to enrich myself. I chose Malta because for me it's a nice island and than because I'm fascinate for its Mediterranean culture and climate and also because for my studies and for my interest in art and cultural heritage I think that this island is more rich in history, so I like it! My experience at Future Focus was a very nice and enjoyable. The experience was fun and great with my friends and with the teacher. I'm sure by the end of this time I will miss this island, all my friends and all the Future Focus's staff. So... see you soon Malta!

Good old days
I came to Malta because in this nation there is feeling of a big town in a small city like cosmopolitan people, big company slow life, old traditions and possibility to travel through the city in few minutes. There are good places to study english like Future Focus. It is close to Italy, isn't expensive and if you don't speak and understand, there isn't problems. Every Maltese citizen looks to speak italian every time. Are you alone? Enjoy Paceville: numerous friends attend to meet you! anyway Maltese people are friendly and human. In Malta there are many different things but at the same time there are similarities to life in Italy. These are just some reasons to visit this land. If you do not know English do not worry. Forget your job, your studies and commitments just come and enjoy yourself and Malta. Enjoy Malta to rediscover a healthy lifestyle like in the good old days.

I arrived in Malta on 22th March because I had a meeting at Future Focus on 26th March. In this meeting, Future Focus found me a company to work, and I started to work there. But I stayed in the company one day only because the company told me that they could not speak with me immediately. And now I am studying English here, and I am working with Future Focus before the lessons. Adrian Guerrero

The Maltese Experience
I came here from Italy for the "Leonardo Project" two weeks ago. It is a project for post graduated people to improve their professional and linguistic knowledge. For me this project is very important because I would like to specialize in the international law sector. Here in Malta I will be able to work in a big legal international office and for this reason I am very satisfied. At the end of day I suggest that you discover the Malta experience!

My life in Malta
I arrived in Malta to study English and to do a work experience in another Country. I chose Malta because it's near Italy and I have already been there. The Leonardo's experience was organized in Malta by Future Focus Institute, in Floriana. They provided the accommodation and the work placement in a good way. I'm very happy and satisfied about the house, the position and my flatmates. The life is very fast, between the English course and the job but I'm satisfied and I will suggest this experience to my friends. Sabrina

the ideal place for learning english
Last week I arrived in Malta with a group of young people from Calabria, Italy. We are here now for two weeks of English course and then we'll have an internship for two months and half. Malta is a good place for studying English: people are smart, the climate is Mediterranean and life is slow. But the Maltese know well Italian too, often if you ask something in English they answer in Italian: this is a really good sign of kindness, but it's not so good for improve your English. Anyway we have a school in Floriana, a nice town close to La Valletta and I want to recommend it because they are very friendly and professional at the same time, they arranged many things for us. I think they are welcoming like the island... Luca

Internship in Malta
Hello everybody, I'm a Dutch student and 20 years old. For my study I had to do an internship and because I wanted to improve my English I decided to go to Malta. I wrote to different English schools and Future Focus was the one that responded quick and clear, that's why I chose for Future Focus. I told them what I needed for my school and the arranged a really nice working place for me. I also live in a house from Future Focus, it's really nice and it's so much fun to live with students from different country's. Now I'm here already three months and I really enjoy everything I do. My English in much better because I followed the English lessons, wich are really good and fun. The teacher is really good and patient. When you finish all your lessons you receive a certificat, wich looks really good on your C.V. Future Focus is easy to find and all the busses are passing it, you only have to walk two minutes! The staff is really nice and if you feel lonely or just want a talk there is always someone to talk to. If you have any problems they will always help you! So if you want to go to Malta I would recommend Future Focus! Greatings from sunny Malta. Talitha

The Future Focus School is a highly recommandable school for English
I like the organization of the school; this school is situated in a very old, classical and historical building; however, the teaching equipment is modern, and this school has new technology at our disposal. Our class was very clean ( toilets, floor exc... ). By the way, I dont know the staff very well, but i feel they are very fiendly and sincere. Our teacher is a very kind gentlemen, and he is a good practical English trainer as well. His emphasis is on grammer and structure of the language, because he has shown us that grammer is the basis of good learning and understanding a language. I understand him very well because he teaches from experience with practical life situations. I am satisfied wiht the work that I have done so far. If I carry on like this, by the end of the course, I will have improve my English to my entire satisfaction. This course is of a high quality standard, and therefore, I am getting quality learning. My special thanks also go to the management of the school for their organization, and the staff too were very supportive in their approach. The school is highly recommendable. Erdal Kilic. My learning experience at the Future Focus School of English was enjoyable.
In my opinion, the organisation of the school was very good. The staff was friendly and available at all time. I liked the building, althought it was very old; all classes and toilets were very clean. Teaching equipment was modern and functional. I thought that the school could have provided us with books at a cost, rather than having to buy them from outside. Sometimes in class it was quite cold. All my teachers were very good and friendly. They didn't teach too fast and this was very important for me. I liked grammar lessons because my teacher's explanations were always very clear. I liked the comprehension lessons, because I thought that they were very useful for my good command of English. I enjoyed speaking lessons too, because I learned a lot of new words. My teachers were friendly and patient with me. So, I'm satisfied about my English course and about my teachers. In fact, my course was very good and the quality of teaching was excellent. So, I can say that the course was of a high standard. In the end, I think that I will recommend this school to my friends and I hope to come back for another English course; surely, I would like to have the same teachers. I would like to thank the school managment and staff for their support throughout my stay and for this reason, I shall return in the future to the same school. Alessia R. Italy. 12.12.2011

This allows me to develop my vocabulary of everyday language and also technical terms. It`s enriching experience. I am a Leonardo Student from Germany. My internship in Malta started with an english language course at Future Focus. During the english lessons I had been learning how to use the proper grammar and the correct tenses. During the first week I had an interview with the supervisor from my work placement, at the national Library. It took only 3 minutes and in my opinion it was too short. I was expecting a little guiding tour through the Library. Ms. Camilleri spoke to me about my working conditions. I asked some questions and she answered. After the 4 weeks in Malta I will have improved my english knowledge, because I have the opportunity to talk a lot of english. Sonnige "Gruess" (enlische Tastatur) aus Malta :) Georg H.

I am a LEONARDO-student from Germany. When I arrived in Malta I had confused expectations about the language course at Future Focus. I couldn't imagine how a course without german speaking teachers would work out. Now I'm sure it does. The course is a mixture of basic grammar, reading and conversation. Step by step I was losing my fear and noticed that I understood the language. That's why I now feel prepared to start my working placement at the National Archive in Malta. During my interview I could communicate with Mr. Charles Farrugia and become more confident about my language skills. The interview went well and I felt warmly welcomed. By the time I leave Malta I'll have seen most of the historical sights of the country and improved my language skills by communicating with my workmates. Ausserdem sollte jeder den Herbst in Malta verbringen!!!!

I am a German LEONARDO student. I participated in an advanced language course for 7 days at Future Focus in Malta. On the one hand we were revising important grammar and on the other hand we were discussing newspaper articles, opinions, quotes and much more. I very much liked the oral exercises because I prefer practical learning. During this short school term my English has definitely improved. Tomorrow I will start my work experience at the Central Public Library in Floriana for 15 days. I expect that my languages skills will surely improve further because of the English speaking staff and library users. Spaetsommerliche 26 Grad Gruesse aus Malta!!!

My first week of english course with Future Focus was nice. It was my first time with so many people of different countries, such as, italian peolpe, dutch and portuguese as well, thats why in some moments in the first couple of days was so special. I had a lot a fun in the class room because of the interation between the teachers with students and also between us (students), trying know each other better, while we were learning english. We laughted toghether about a lot a things. The english i've learned here its a little bit diferent that i was used to in my home country. But its good to know diferent points of view and diferent kinds of being tought to reagen more knowlegde. Their are good teachers here and i like them both, it's really an advantage to learn from there teaching. It as been a lifetime experience for me since that is my first time away from my country. Its something to remember, thats for sure. Thanks to this programme i hope to be sucessefull in my life. Thank you all for this opurtunity. Nuno Maltieiro

In my point of view I think the classes room are good. Where we all talk the comum language. For example the Dutch girl speaks another language that for me is impossible to understand. This will became a good experience, knowing more about the Maltese culture, to improve my pronunciations and know more about other countries, by living and communication with other people. Where I like there are two other students from different countries, the language we use is English. It’s easier to communication in English. I am enjoy a lot very much, that I do again.

In my point of view the english course will improve my professional and social skills and will help me in my practical training aboard. The teachers are nice and the lessons are enjoyable. I have the opportunity to learn more about english mostly about the pronunciation and speaking correctly. Here i can practise more better my english and it's more easy to talk with people of another country and get to know their cultures. I'm enjoying this programme until now and I'm happy to be part of this experience.

Hi, I'm Tiziana and I'm from Calabria (Italy). I came here two weeks ago with my friend M.Antonietta to do an internship with Leonardo Programme. We are going stay in Malta until the end of November and we are very exciting to undergo this new experience. We have spent the first two weeks attending an english course at Future Focus's headquarters, with the other participants of the Leonardo Programme. Future Focus is the company whose function was, firstly, give us an accomodotation for the period that we stay on the Island. Secondly it also provides an english course, for the first 2 weeks, to give us the opportunity to improve our english knowlodge. Teachers were very prepared and very friendly. Future Focus's staff is also very efficient and very helpfull. We also spending time with them outside of the school. In fact Sandro, tha main teacher, will come with us on a one day holiday to Gozo. Malta seems to be a very enjoyble place, with a lot of interesting places to see like M'dina, Rabat or La Valletta. Thank's to its beachs, its landscapes and its vibrant nightlife, Malta also became the favorite destination for young tourists that want to visit historic places during the day and wanting to have fun during the night. We are very happy to stay here and it seems that it will be a wonderful experience.

The Future Focus's persons are so gentle and helpful with everybody and the teachers are very understanding and friendly. The course has been a good opportunity to improve my english that was a little rusty. I hope that my experience in Malta will meet my high expectation,to improve the language and learn a new skill. a last thing: this is Malta,it's no England... if you want a country like England, go to England, is better for you! Hello to everybody! I`m Mariolina and I arrived in Malta two weeks ago. Here everything is small and cute above all Mdina (my heart is there). My experience with Future Focus was good. I got to know Rosanne and my teacher Sandro, both so kind with me. Sandro is very patience with us italian students (thanks for this, teach!). I will stay in Malta for three months, and I hope to know nice and interesting people. Here there is always a bad smell but it can`t last forever. Next monday I will start my job in Malta`s Heritage and I hope to meet kind and nice people. I hope above all to improve my english, that now isn`t so good. I`m living in B`Kara with four Dutch, three Italian friend and with a Potuguese girl, Claudia, she`s funny and always s she wants to talk about me. She always helps me with new words. I have to speak english at home, becouse nobody knows italian (I feel lucky ). Thanks to my friend Nicola and Tizianda that always cook for me but then I always wash the dishes. Sometimes I miss Italy, my sister, my books and all my thinks..but now I`m in Malta and I want enjoy everithing that`s here. Now I`m tryng to study becouse I would to pass the degree in Philosophy in October, but is very difficult, but hope is the last to die. I`m so sorry becouse the others Italians are living in another place.. So we can see only during the week end. I don`t like the sea so much but nevermind :D I went with my friend to the Wine Festival in Qormi.. it was great...on Saturday we will go to Gozo.. it`s wonderful for me. I love so much Maltese wine, pastizzi and ftira.. but I miss brasilena (coffee drink) and Italian pizza. My trip started. Good luck Mariolina

Hi there, we're italian students. Actually I'm Simona and near me there is Davide. We're sharing the Leonardo Project here at the Future Focus, Floriana, Malta. We had a great time during these first two weeks of language course. We met foreign students, and friends and we enjoyed studing english togheter. We are going to stay here for three months, till the late november. We will start our internship on next monday in different places and we are sure that this will be a great opportunity for our linguistic, cultural and ethic growth. And don't forget that in this time we will live in a very beautiful place called MALTA. An italian greeting (CIAO) from Malta, hoping to survive the maltese drivers, expecially the buses ones.

I am teacher at the AFP Culinary Institite in Asti - Italy. Last year i sent a group of 26 students to Malta for a Language course organized by Future Focus. The course was excellent and the teachers gorgeous. My students really enjoyed it. Language course content and methodologies were appropriate to the age and background of my students.

I'm a teacher of English at a high secondary school for tourism and hotel and I spent 3 weeks in Malta with my class of 15 students, thanks to the European grants for a Leonardo da Vinci project. It was a great experience, because my students could attend very good English courses in the morning and they made vocational training at the best hotels in Malta, in the afternoon.Rosanne Galea and her staff were extremely professional and kind and my students came back home enthusiastic and well trained.I do really hope to repeat this experience again in the future.

In 2008 I spent 3 months working in Malta with a grant, and Future Focus gave me a two-weeks english course, then found a job and accomodation for my scolarship. I improved my english a great deal, and now I'm proudly a certified B2 level! Apart from that, Malta and Gozo are beautiful islands, people is nice and cousine tasty. I'll surely go back to visit some friends I left there.

I spent 3 weeks in a intensive course six hours a day in one-to-one class. It was very useful for me, although it was difficult to keep concentrate for so long. Fortunately I got a long well with the teacher and we have agreed to change class room location, enjoying the local scene. Being the only student in class I had more time for conversation. To attend an English course in Malta enables you to have the best of both words learning English and enjoying holidays. LA VITA E' BELLA A MALTA!!!
Great experience.
