Founded in 1980, Intrax is dedicated to helping you find and pursue your professional passion. Intrax San Francisco is located in convenient and vibrant Downtown San Francisco, close to major public transportation lines, restaurants, shopping, museums, nightlife, businesses, culture and more. Explore one of America's top cities while you Study English, Gain Work Experience, practice for TOEFL and Cambridge exams, learn Business English and Business Skills, and make new friends and connections. After class and on the weekends, join Intrax students and staff on fun activities and adventures in and around the city, join the Intrax football (soccer) team or travel to other American destinations.

WHO ARE OUR STUDENTS?

Intrax is vibrant and diverse with students from over 45 nationalities, and the average student age is 23 years old.

We keep class sizes small so that you get more personalized attention from your teachers. Core class sizes are limited to a maximum of 12 students.

Facilities

- Spacious center featuring over 25 classrooms with comfortable seating.

- A student lounge with sofas, a piano, a pool table, vending machines with snacks and drinks, and microwaves so you can prepare your own lunches.

- Career Counseling and University Advising Center.

- 2 new computer labs with 30 computers.

- Free wireless Internet throughout the center.

- Easy access to all public transportation systems, including buses, streetcars, cable cars, and BART trains.

- Activities area with information about San Francisco’s many attractions, public transportation, local tours, and Intrax events.

San Francisco is an exciting city on the California coast with a wide variety of things to do, and Intrax helps our students get the most out of their experience in the U.S.

Intrax offers a variety of activities for students to participate in, all while practicing their English. They can range from:

- Intrax football (soccer) team

- Concerts
- Parties
- Trips
- Museum visits
- Karaoke
- Art & Film festivals
- Dinner parties
- Beach bonfires
- Sports/yoga
- University/career fairs

Visa Information

Intrax has a long-standing relationship with the U.S. Department of State.

Intrax Admissions Advisors and staff will guide you through the visa process before arrival, and they are always ready to help you with any visa questions you may have once you arrive.

If you decide to apply for our Internship or Work Travel programs (separate from the Center programs), we will support and sponsor your J-1 visa once you are accepted.

How to get there

We offer transportation to and from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) for an additional fee.

Our transportation service includes:
- Meeting you at the curbside arrival area of the airport
- Dropping you off with your host family or at the residence club

Upon departure, you can also request to be picked up from your housing and dropped off at the departure area of the airport.

You must provide your detailed flight information to Intrax at least two weeks before your arrival or departure date.
