Hello everyone, I have nothing but praise for this school, Dante Alighieri at Camerino, Italy. I attended together with a friend, and our teenage children. The 3 of them were placed in the beginners course (as they had no knowledge of Italian at all) I had studied here in Australia for 3 years, so I was in a different class to them. We all enjoyed it very much, the staff take such good care of you that I recommend anyone wanting to go there alone, to go. We are in our 50s, however we fitted in very well, 3/4 were in their 20s - 30s. There was about 1/2 hour of homework every night, every day there was an outing of some sort, either to nearby little towns or a visit to a place of interest in Camerino, or a karaoke night. You would not feel lonely if you were there on your own, and on weekends on both Saturday & Sunday there was a coach tour to Florence, San Marino, Assisi, Perugia or Rome at a nominal fee. You could cook your own night meals or eat in the many restaurants or bars. We went in October 2009 for 1 month, I plan to go again this year for 1 month, however I'm planning to go in September, as I found October too cold! (5 -13c)
