Before I went to VSE I had had my last English lesson forty years ago at primary school in Russia. You can imagine my level by the start. After two weeks I "survived" in a long conversation with native speakers. Now I can read the Economist and see BBC. And I do it. It's about the result. Let me turn to the process. I was really exited. My group mates were from all parts of the globe. And we spoke with each other! The atmosphere was friendly and, if it is possible to say so, festive, Our teachers were patient and had a clear sense of humor.
