Perth is in Western Australia and is situated on the Swan River in between the Indian Ocean and the Darling Mountain Ranges. It’s the largest city in this part of Australia, and the fourth largest city in the country with around 1.6 million inhabitants.
Perth is well known for its great beaches that are never over crowded and are clean and safe, and swimming is a popular pastime.
